During Your Float

•  I understand that the water is maintained at skin temperature (approximately 93.5°F / 34.1°C) for comfort and sensory balance.

•  I will shower before and after my float.

•  I will avoid touching my eyes or face while in the pod due to the high salt concentration.

•  I understand that earplugs are recommended to prevent water from entering the ears.

• I will exit the pod slowly and carefully to avoid slipping.

Personal Responsibility

​

•  I understand that I float at my own risk and that FloatHaus Wales cannot be held responsible for injury or illness resulting from undisclosed medical conditions or failure to follow instructions.

• I have disclosed all relevant health information honestly and completely.

•  I consent to receiving pre- and post-float guidance and agree to follow FloatHaus Wales’ safety instructions.

•  I understand that cancellation policies apply as stated at the time of booking.

 

Clients should NOT float if they have

​

• Infectious skin conditions (e.g., athlete’s foot, ringworm).

• Open wounds or sores.

•  Diarrhoea or stomach upset within the last 14 days.

•  Contagious illnesses such as flu or cold.

•  Epilepsy (unless advised safe by a GP).

•  Recent hair colouring that bleeds onto a white towel.

•  Recent tattoos or piercings (within 7–10 days).

•  Pregnancy during the first trimester.

•  Under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Cancellation Policy – Float Therapy Sessions

​

We understand that plans can change, and we always aim to be as accommodating as possible. However, due to the limited availability of our float therapy spaces and the preparation involved, our cancellation policy is as follows:

​

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your appointment may be rescheduled or refunded in full.

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment, including no-shows, will result in the full booking fee being forfeited.

• If you need to amend your booking, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help you find an alternative time.
